Northeast & Eastern Seaboard
Glen Raven Logistics offers truckload and less than truckload service along the Eastern Seaboard. Our truckloads are loaded to ride to all destinations, and less than truckload freight is either loaded to ride or transferred to a different trailer at one of Glen Raven's terminals.
Glen Raven takes pride in partnerships aligned with customers moving freight in this trade lane. Our operations and customer service departments are dedicated to providing competitive pricing and reliable on-time service to customers transporting freight to the northeast and along the eastern seaboard.
We offer daily, time-sensitive runs between the Carolinas and: Northeast United States.
California
Glen Raven Logistics offers truckload and less than truckload service to the West Coast. Professional team drivers with whom we work very closely on a daily basis provide this service. The truckloads are loaded to ride just as the majority of the less than truckloads. The less than truckload freight that has to be transferred is cross docked at one of the Glen Raven terminals and is handled solely by quality personnel. We take pride in our ability to provide our customers with competitive rates complimented with on-time service as well as quality customer service before, during and after the move.
Freight picked up Monday/Tuesday would be scheduled for a Friday delivery to California. Freight picked up Wednesday/Thursday/Friday would be scheduled for delivery to California on Monday/Tuesday.
Laredo & Mexico
Glen Raven Logistics carries not only Glen Raven products, but products from many other companies. Shipments move between the Carolinas and the Northeast and from the Northeast back through the Carolinas to border cities in Texas (Laredo, Brownsville, El Paso, Eagle Pass and McAllen) and on into Mexico. We also provide northbound service from Mexico into the United States.
In 1995, Glen Raven opened a facility in Mexico City - Fenix Marketing. Through this new expansion, we gained knowledge of how to transport goods in to Mexico. We offer the following services at our Mexico facilty:
- Transborder service - northbound and southbound
- Consolidated and truckload service
- Experienced bilingual staff to assist in operations, customer service and sales
- Door to door service to major points in Mexico
In April of 2000, Glen Raven opened a facility in Laredo, Texas - Glen Raven Transportation, Laredo Office. With this expansion in Laredo, we will be able to offer our customers a more complete "hands-on" door to door service from the United States into Mexico. The following services are offered in Laredo:
- Freight forwarding services into Mexico
- Consolidated and truckload service
- Warehousing
Warehousing & Distribution
A relatively new service that Glen Raven Logistics is offering is warehouse distribution. Glen Raven now owns and operates a large warehouse facility with 150,000 square feet of space. Strategically located in central North Carolina, the warehouse is within 1-2 hours from three international airports and easily accessible from all eastern seaports. Services available include:
